BibleStudyCafe.com Show: Aug. 28 Resources

On this week's edition of the BibleStudyCafe Show, I discussed the following resources:

1. Pastor A.R. Bernard's show, "Faith in Practice."

2. Dr. David Jeremiah's "Turning Point" radio sermon series on the Holy Spirit.

3. The Ancient Greek word of the week is Dunamis. The definition provided by CrossWalk.com (http://bible.crosswalk.com) is strength power, ability

  1. inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth
  2. power for performing miracles
An example can be found in Acts 19:11, "Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul..." (New King James Version).

The phrase "unusual miracles" is "dunamis" in the Ancient Greek.

The modern day word "dynamite" from dunamis.

Our next show is scheduled for 11a.m. Eastern Time, Thursday, Sept. 4 at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/BibleStudyCafe
